Plot
In 1985, Deva and Vardharaja Vardha Mannar was close friends in Khansaar. Raja Mannar is the father of Vardhar. He ruled on powerful city-state. When Raja Mannar orders the destruction of the Shouryaanga tribe, Vardha intervenes to save Deva and his mother by exchanging his territory for their lives. Deva promises to return if Vardha ever needs his help and became strong their bond..
In 2017, Krishnakanth sends his daughter, Aadhya, to Deva’s home in Assam for protection, where she pretends to be an English instructor. Aadhya is abducted by a convoy bearing Khansaar’s emblem, prompting Deva to rescue her. Vardha and his stepsister Radha are both drawn to this act. Radha had planned the abduction to avenge Krishnakanth’s past wrongs and to cause conflict between Deva and Vardha. According to Khansaar’s history, Raja Mannar’s father ensured the city’s autonomy after independence by killing Dhaara, the rightful heir from the Shouryaanga tribe.
Finally, Bhaarava, Vardha’s brother-in-law, suggests pacifying Vardha, which will lead to a series of violent events. On the day of voting for the throne, chaos breaks out as multiple factions vie for power. During the turmoil, Vardha and Deva kill Ranga, one of the contenders. It is then revealed that Deva is actually Devaratha Raisaar, Dhaara’s son and the rightful heir to the throne. Vardha observes Deva’s real identity and calls him his Salaar.
